Where our revenue actually comes from

There's no paywall on this site, no gated newsletter and no premium tier. Nearly everything you read here is paid for by affiliate commissions. When a reader clicks through one of our outbound links, opens an account at a casino and starts playing, the operator may send us a referral fee in return. That fee is drawn from the brand's own marketing budget โ€” not a single cent gets tacked onto your deposit, your stakes or the amount you eventually withdraw. Where an operator runs several welcome offers, the one you'll pick up via our link is never a worse version than the one waiting if you walked up to the casino cold.

Any page carrying affiliate links shows a short notice up top that points down to this document for the fuller picture. On top of that, outbound buttons carry a machine-readable attribute that mainstream browsers recognise, in line with the usual search-engine and consumer-protection guidance.

A spot in the ranking isn't for sale

We'll say it bluntly, since it's the whole point of this page: commissions never factor into where an operator lands in our ranking, and no mechanism exists for them to do so. The commercial rate for each brand is agreed once, and it doesn't shift whether that casino tops the leaderboard, sits in tenth place or gets dropped from the list entirely. If a brand fumbles the six-point retests, it slides down. If a casino has never paid us a dollar yet the testing supports a listing, it still goes on the list.

A few concrete outcomes show how this plays out. We've turned down some of the fattest commission offers on the Australian market because our hands-on testing didn't warrant a listing. We pull operators the moment payouts, terms or support start sliding, and we spell out the reason on the page itself. A slot earned through genuine, hands-on testing simply can't be bought back by an operator waving a bigger cut.

Several listed operators pay us nothing

Not every casino you see on casinau.vip has a commercial arrangement with us. The shortlist actually covers three distinct groups of operator:

  • Affiliate partners. A standard commercial relationship, a fixed referral fee and zero influence on scoring. These make up the bulk of the list.
  • In-house programmes we've skipped. Some operators run their own affiliate schemes rather than go through a network. Even when we haven't signed up, we'll still list the brand wherever the testing warrants the spot.
  • Networks we steer clear of. A handful of affiliate networks come with terms we won't accept; operators tied solely to those networks pay us zero and still make the cut strictly on merit.

The upshot is simple: "pays us the most" and "ranks at the top" live in two completely separate columns of our internal records, and neither one ever influences the other.

What our commission buys โ€” and what it doesn't

  • We will accept a fixed, openly disclosed affiliate commission on outbound sign-ups.
  • We will not trade a ranking position, an inflated score or a softened verdict for cash.
  • We will not publish undisclosed sponsored articles or advertorial dressed up as an editorial review.
  • We will not quietly bury critical coverage in exchange for a better rate.
